Summary
The council promotes the welfare and development of children and young people in partnership with other local agencies.
Key areas of work focus on Safeguarding and on the outcomes of 'Every Child Matters', Local Strategic Partnership, Lancaster District Children's Trust Partnership and other inter-agency groups which address children and young people's issues.
