Dog Control Orders (Morecambe Beaches)
Summary
No dogs are allowed on areas of Morecambe's North and South beaches during the summer months. See the maps below for specific prohibition areas.
Annually from 1st May to 30th September, inclusive, the stretch of Morecambe's North Beach from Northumberland Street to Green Street is subject to a Dog Control Order.
A Voluntary Dog Control scheme has already been in place for two years on Morecambe's South Beach from the Battery to the Stone Jetty.
