Garden Waste
Summary
The council provides recycling containers and operates a fortnightly kerbside recycling scheme for the majority of the district.
- A green wheeled bin is provided for green garden waste and food waste.
- Two recycling boxes are provided - one for cans, glass, plastic bottles and foil, and one for carboard, paper, phone directories, newspapers and magazines.
- A silver kitchen caddy is provided for all food waste, this should be emptied into your green wheeled bin.
- If you do not have a green wheeled bin, a green outdoor food caddy is provided.
Please ensure your recycling bins and boxes are available for collection from 7am on your collection day.

(Please do not report a bin as missed until 24 hours after its scheduled collection time).
