NowCard

Summary

If you are eligible, you can apply for the NowCard which entitles you to concessionary travel fares throughout Lancashire

The age of eligibility for concessionary travel for women is pension age and for men it is the pensionable age of a woman born on the same day. If you are disabled and aged five or over, you may also be eligible.

Applying for a NoWCard

If you qualify simply bring proof of your age and address to our Customer Service Centre at Lancaster or Morecambe Town Hall.  Disabled applications will need to bring appropriate documents confirming their disability along with proof of address.  We will do the rest.

Concessionary Travel

The Nowcard entitles you to the standard English National Concession - Free local bus journeys anywhere in England between 9.30am and 11pm weekdays and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Journeys made before 9.30am and after 11pm Monday to Friday will be charged at the full adult fare.

Additionally, Lancashire NoWcard holders can travel free of charge on Blackpool trams and the Knott-End ferry between 9.30am and 11pm weekdays and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
