Public Toilets

Public Toilets Maintained by Lancaster City Council

• Bull Beck Picnic Site, Caton
• Carnforth Market Square
• Glasson Dock
• West End Gardens, Morecambe

We clean all these public toilets at least once a day and maintain them in a safe condition, seven days a week and including bank holidays.

New Changing Places Toilets at The Festival Market in Morecambe

This toilet is the district's first 'Changing Place' for those with profound and multiple learning disabilities.  Facilities include a height-adjustable changing bench, a hoist and plenty of space.  You need to provide your own sling, the hoist spreader bar is designed to be used with loop attachment slings.

Accessing the Changing Place Toilet

To access the toilet a key must be obtained from Morecambe Visitor Information Centre (VIC), which is in the Platform Buildings approx 200m away.  During the summer the VIC is open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5pm and on Sundays 10am to 4pm.  The VIC is closed on Sundays during the winter.  If you wish to call in advance tel: (01524) 582808.

On Sundays during the winter the key is available from the Festival Market office from 9am to 4.30pm, if you wish to call in advance tel: (01524) 414251.
