Alcohol and entertainment
Lancaster City Council is responsible for licensing the sale and supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and the provision of late night refreshment within the Lancaster district.
If you are conducting any of the above activities, you will need the relevant licence.
New arrangements for personal licences due for renewal in 2015
If the expiry date of your personal licence is in early 2015, you will need to apply for a renewal. Please read our factsheet for further information.

National fraud initiative (NFI)
Lancaster City Council is under a duty to protect the public funds it administers, and to this end may use the information you have provided on your licensing application form for the prevention and detection of crime. It may also share this information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds for these purposes.
