PCSO and Eric Morecambe Statue

The best way to reduce crime and the fear of crime is by working together in Partnership. The City Council works in partnership with other local public sector services, such as the Police, as well as voluntary groups, local businesses and the local community to ensure that the district is a safe and pleasant place in which to live, work and visit.  Collectively these organisations work under the umbrella of the Lancaster District Community Safety Partnership (CSP).

The main projects and initiatives the Community Safety Partnership is involved with can be found under 'community safety objectives' and are classified by the type of crime they aim to address.
