A Local Strategic Partnership, or LSP, is a voluntary partnership involving organisations from the public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors.

Lancaster District Local Strategic Partnership (LDLSP) aims to improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the Lancaster district, now and for generations to come.

It achieves this by:

• Producing a Sustainable Community Strategy which sets out partners' common vision, objectives and targets for improving the wellbeing of local people

• Coordinating partner activities and budgets towards achieving those objectives

• Funding a number of unique and exciting projects in the district
