Council Tax Customer Charter

Under the terms of our customer charter, we always aim to:

  • Give you reliable information
  • Treat you with respect and equality
  • Be courteous and helpful
  • Ensure visitors wait no longer than 5 minutes before their initial enquiry is dealt with
  • Identify ourselves so that you know who is dealing with you
  • Ensure you know who to complain to if you are dissatisfied and respond to complaints within 5 working days
  • Answer letters within 5 working days
  • Answer 90% of telephone calls within 5 rings
  • Answer E mails within 1 working day
  • Listen to your views and suggestions to improve our service to you
