Review of polling districts, places and stations
Lancaster City Council has reviewed its polling districts and polling places. We wanted to make sure that all electors have the best facilities available for voting, and that as far as reasonable and practicable each polling place is accessible to all electors including those who are disabled.
We invited people to let us know if they were happy with the arrangements that are already in place, or to make suggestions for possible changes which would be given further consideration.
Council considered the findings of the review at its meeting on 16 November 2011 and considered the suggestions.
