Heysham Community Swimming Pool

Heysham Community Swimming Pool Heysham Pool is situated in the grounds of the adjacent High School in Osborne Road, Morecambe and offers a wide range of pool based activities throughout the year.

The pool is 25 metres by 10 metres with a maximum depth of 2 metres which allows for diving at the deep end.

For a quiet swim, the pool offers Adults Only and Ladies Only swimming sessions throughout the week. More active swimmers will enjoy the Aquafit or Hydrofit sessions. And for younger age groups swimming lessons are available. The pool has times for family sessions, providing mats and floats during public swimming times for the children to enjoy.

Lifesaving Courses are held regularly throughout the year.

Private Bookings are also available for clubs and children's parties.

Swimming Pool Admissions Policy

Children under the age of 8 years MUST be accompanied at all times in the water by a responsible person of at least 16 years of age.

One responsible person may accompany 2 children, under the age of 8 in the water at all times. However, only one child may be under the age of 5 years. Children’s swimming ability will NOT override this policy under any circumstances.
