Young people are being urged to share their views on antisocial behaviour in the district.
Lancaster City Council's antisocial behaviour task group is due to hold its next meeting on Wednesday April 9 at Carnforth Railway Station at 7pm.
The council would like young people to attend so the task group can hear their views.
Coun Joyce Pritchard, chairman of the antisocial behaviour task group, said: “It is important that young people have their say on an issue that affects all age ranges.
"By listening to a broad range of opinions we can then improve our approach to combating antisocial behaviour."
The first public meeting of the task group took place on March 27 at Lancaster Town Hall. The meeting was well attended with between 20 – 25 people sharing their views about the social problem. These included representatives from both the Marsh and Ridge community centres.
There will be further public meetings at Heysham High School on April 22 at 7pm and Halton Community Centre on April 30 at 6pm. Following the public meetings the task group will convene and produce a report which will then be considered by the council’s cabinet.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like your say please forward any comments to scrutiny@lancaster.gov.uk
