Lancaster City Council has launched its 2008 cycling events and rides guide to tempt residents and visitors into making the most of our district by bike.
'Go by Bike' 2008 has been put together by the council's Cycling Demonstration Town (CDT) Team to offer information at-a-glance on guided rides and other cycling events taking place in the district from April to September.
With the district's ability to boast the largest cycling network in Lancashire, the brochure is packed with plenty of things to keep all the family happy and healthy over the next 6 months.
Guides are available, free of charge, from Lancaster Tourist Information Centre, Morecambe Visitors Centre and the council's customer service centres at Lancaster and Morecambe Town Halls. Copies can also be downloaded from the cycling website www.celebratingcycling.org. Alternatively you can contact the CDT Team by email to celebratingcycling@lancaster.gov.uk or by telephone: 01524 582086.
