Ricky Tomlinson's Laughter Show at the Morecambe Dome

Top TV personality Ricky Tomlinson returns to the Morecambe Dome with his Laughter Show on Saturday April 19.

The Laughter Show features two hours of unbelievable comedy suitable for all the family with special guests Tony Barton (Coronation Street), Pauline Daniels (The Comedians) and Stevie Riks (top Liverpool comedy impressionist) plus Ricky himself.

Over the years, Ricky has won numerous awards for comedy, personality and drama.  He has appeared in many TV shows including ‘Brookside’, ‘Boys From the Blackstuff’, ‘The Royle Family’, ‘Clocking Off’ ‘ and has starred in films and videos.  His book ‘Football My Arse’ is the funniest football book you’ll ever read!

Tony Barton is a well known face from TV who has appeared in ‘Coronation Street’ as Pat the builder and has also had parts in ‘Hollyoaks’, ‘Emmerdale’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘Open All Hours’ and was the lead man in the Stones Bitter adverts throughout the 1980s.

Pauline Daniels is also a regular TV performer and has been seen in ‘The Comedians’, ‘Saturday Royal’, ‘Wogan’ and ‘Brookside’.  From Merseyside, she has been hailed as one of Liverpool’s favourite theatrical daughters and has played many parts in stage productions and musicals both in the North and London’s West End.

Stevie Riks was a winner on the TV show ‘New Faces’ in 1988.  He won his heat with the highest ever recorded score on the show and since then he has been involved with various stage productions and has a wealth of experience doing voice overs.  He has provided celebrity and character voices for clients who include Virgin Radio, Opera Telecom (voice overs and script writing for celebrity ring tones), Alton Towers (character voices) and various vocals for adverts.  Steve was the voice of ‘Pondlife’ who reached No 11 in the Chart in competition with ‘Crazy Frog’.

Ricky Tomlinson’s Laughter Show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and are available from the Box Office on 01524 582803.
