Lancaster City Council can provide free 1-2-1 cycle training sessions, for anyone who wants to give cycling a go.
The council’s Cycling Demonstration Town Team have a number of fully qualified instructors who can teach at all levels. So whether you’re just getting to grips with riding a bike, or see yourself as an on-road cycling pro, there’s someone to help and encourage you.
Sessions take place at a time and at a place that suits you, and last for approximately one hour. And if you don’t have your own bike we can offer you one for free at Salt Ayre Sports Centre.
To book a session call 01524 582392 or email your details to celebratingcycling@lancaster.gov.uk. If you don’t want to go it alone, you can also join a group session. For this option call Pedal Power on 01524 65328 to find out more.
