Wrestling comes back to Morecambe

LIVE American-style wrestling is back in town on Saturday, September 6 when the XWA gets ready to strike back.

LIVE American-style wrestling is back in town on Saturday, September 6 when the XWA gets ready to strike back.

The XWA is under threat like never before from East End gang 'The Guvnor' Martin Stone and his cronies The Firm, who have been on a reign of terror in The Morecambe Dome at the popular, packed-house events this year.

But the XWA’s wrestling heroes have pledged to mount a comeback at Last Fight At The Prom - the XWA’s unmissable Dome season finale.

Topping the bill will be a match 18 months in the making as challenger Sam Slam will finally get his hands on the hated British Heavyweight Champion Stevie Knight in a one-on-one match.

Another bitter rivalry could come to an end on September 6 when 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm squares off with 'The Psychotic Warrior' Johnny Phere in a Two out of Three Falls match.

Meanwhile Team XWA are desperate to get their hands on The Firm - the traitorous ‘Rock Star’ Spud and The Kartel - in a massive six-man tag team grudge match. Team XWA will consist of captain Joey Hayes, Dirk Feelgood and one other XWA star.

Last Fight at the Prom will also see a rematch from the last show when the 'Champ of Camp' Jules Lambrini takes on The Juice.

And Morecambe's own Greg Lambert, the owner of the XWA, will invite the man who wants to destroy the XWA - Martin Stone - into the ring for a face-to-face meeting where absolutely anything could happen.

As always, The Morecambe Raffle will be a major part of the evening's fun.
Doors open at 7pm on the night, bell time is 7.30pm.

To experience the best wrestling night out in the UK, book your tickets now by calling 01524 406108 or pop into Morecambe or Lancaster tourist information centres. Prices are £16 for ringside, £11 for adults, £9 for children, £34 for a family of four and £42 for a family of six (family of six ticket is available in advance only).

This event is suitable for family viewing although under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
