A man who once conquered the world by bike has been invited to The Dukes in Lancaster this month to take an audience through his A to Z of cycling around the world.
A man who once conquered the world by bike has been invited to The Dukes in Lancaster this month to take an audience through his A to Z of cycling around the world.
Alastair Humphreys left England in August 2001. After more than 1500 days and 46,000 miles spanning five continents and 60 countries, Alastair arrived back home in November 2005. His journey, as well as being a pure quest for adventure, was also to help raise the profile of the charity 'Hope and Homes for Children.'
Everyone is welcome to hear all about Alastair's adventures by joining him in The Gallery at The Dukes, Moor Lane, Lancaster on Wednesday, February 13 at 7.30 pm. Admission is free.
