Business Advice Night returns

Business leaders and budding entrepreneurs will no doubt be pleased to see the return of the popular Business Advice Night.

Business leaders and budding entrepreneurs will no doubt be pleased to see the return of the popular Business Advice Night.  The informal drop in event, which takes place on Tuesday March 11 at Lancaster and Morecambe College, is aimed at business owners and managers.

The organisers, Lancaster City Council, along with a number of advisory organisations, will be on hand to offer advice on a wide range of business-related issues such as:
Funding and Grant Assistance
Recruitment and Employment
Training and Skills
General Business Advice and Support

No appointment is necessary. Visitors to the event just need to call in between 4pm and 7pm to speak to representatives from various organisations including:   Lancaster City Council, JobcentrePlus, Business Link NW, Lancaster University, University of Cumbria, Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, and others.

Coun Abbott Bryning, cabinet member with responsibility for employment opportunities and regeneration in Lancaster, said: "It is rare that so many business support organisations are brought together under one roof. This is a wonderful opportunity for any local business to access a huge range of business advice and information and I would urge any business, whether starting up or already established, to attend. The city council is delighted to lend its support to this event."

So whether you are looking for specific help or general advice, or just want the chance to network with other local business people, then this is an opportunity not to be missed.
