Thin Lizzy, with the help of their charismatic front man, Phil Lynott, dominated the story of Irish rock in the 1970's and laid the foundations for the massive achievements of many contemporary Irish acts. Their influence can be detected in anything from U2 to the Corrs and such was the range and genre defining power of Lynott and his colleagues they came to shape much of the output of Irish musicians over succeeding decades.
This superb legacy is cherished and celebrated by Limehouse Lizzy with genuine enthusiasm and a nostalgic night packed with Lizzy hits is promised. 2006 saw Limehouse Lizzy complete their 'Dedication' Tour, a celebration of some of the finest songs in rock history. The tour was a massive success and culminated in the band being featured in a BBC2 documentary. The documentary also included support band AC/DC tribute from Blackpool, AC/BC.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets cost £10 advance, £12 on the Door. Advance tickets are available from the Box Office on 01524 582803.
