Top stand up comedian Marcus Brigstocke will perform his new show 'Your Time is Up' at Lancaster City Council's venue, The Platform in Morecambe, on Friday January 25 starting at 8pm. This show has been rescheduled from November 30 as Marcus was given the opportunity to host 'Saturday Night Live' on TV.
Star of BBC's 'The Late Edition', 'The Now Show', 'Jack Dee's Live From the Apollo' and more recently 'Marcus Brigstocke's Trophy People'. Time Out Comedy Award winner Marcus has emerged as a major comedy talent, performing stand up to thrilled sell out audiences across the country.
He has become a regular voice on BBC Radio and has starred in films as well as being a regular writer on several TV and radio shows including the satirical 'Now Show' with Punt and Dennis and 'Giles Wemmbley Hogg Goes Off'.
Marcus started his career in comedy whilst at Bristol University, where he performed to university and national crowds and soon won the 1996 BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival. He is the company director of Corduroy Productions and lives in South London. He is committed to non-violence and is an active campaigner for 'Campaign Against Arms Trade' and CND.
Described by The Observer as 'Intelligent, dark, subtle stuff`' and 'Dazzling, inspired, perfectly observed. I've yet to see anything funnier' by the Daily Telegraph, Marcus promises a show that will have you in stitches.
Tickets for this show cost £14 adults, £12 concessions. Over 18s only.
