The 2005 X Factor finalists Journey South will be coming to the Morecambe Dome on the final night of their ‘Home’ tour.
The duo will be performing songs from their two albums on July 19. Tickets are priced at just £12.50 and are sure to prove popular with fans of the ITV show.
The hard working brothers from Middlesbrough had been doing the pub and club circuit for years before getting their break with the X Factor. They wowed viewers and judges with renditions of massive hits from the likes of Bon Jovi, U2, The Beatles and Rod Stewart.
Carl and Andy Pemberton eventually finished third in the talent show and were signed to Simon Cowell’s Sony BMG label. Their self titled debut album went straight into the charts at number one. The album was made up of a range of covers that they’d performed on the show. It also contained their fantastic take on Ocean Colour Scene’s ‘The Circle’.
They released their second album ‘Home’, last year on their own record label, and it made it into the top 50. It included hits like ‘what I like about home’ and ‘reconcile our love’. ‘What I love about home’ was adopted by Barnardo’s for their home time campaign. The boys later went on to donate profits from the single to the children’s charity.
