XWA wrestling to take place at The Dome

THE hottest wrestling night of the summer comes to Morecambe in July when the stars of the XWA will be seeking revenge.

THE hottest wrestling night of the summer comes to Morecambe in July when the stars of the XWA will be seeking revenge.

XWA wrestlingLast time XWA wrestling visited the Morecambe Dome, the show was invaded by 'The Guv'nor' Martin Stone and his sidekicks The Kartel, who unleashed a vicious attack on the XWA's most popular stars.

Now Morecambe's favourite wrestlers are out for retribution at The Dome on Saturday, July 5, when there's bound to be serious repercussions.  Topping the bill at Vendetta 2008 will be a main event where the XWA's four biggest stars will brawl for it all with the Heavyweight Title on the line.

It's 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm v Stevie Knight v Sam Slam v Johnny Phere in a Final Four match where only one man can emerge as champion.
'The Heavyweight House of Pain' Stixx will face his former tag team partner Martin Stone in a red-hot 'unsanctioned' fight to the finish.

Meanwhile Joey Hayes will team up with the popular Zebra Kid to face The Kartel in a massive tag team grudge match.  Birmingham's 'Pocket Dynamo' Spud will receive one last chance to win the British Flyweight Title in a Last Man Standing match against everyone's favourite masked Mexican high-flyer, El Ligero.

And the cocky Zak Zodiac, fed up of his recent losing streak in the XWA, has issued an open challenge to face absolutely anyone in the ring.

As always, Morecambe's own Greg Lambert will be your host and there will be your chance to win star prizes in The Morecambe Raffle.

Look out too for the XWA stall in The Arndale Centre, Morecambe, on the afternoon of Saturday July 5 between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
Doors open at 7pm, bell time is 7.30pm. Tickets cost £16 ringside, £11 adults, £9 children, £34 for family of four - there are also family of six discounted tickets available when bought in advance.
Tickets are available by calling The Dome's Box Office on 01524 406108 or by calling into Morecambe or Lancaster Tourist Information Centres.
