Lancaster City Council continues its programme of guided cycle rides for women this weekend (Sunday, June 1) and invites you to join its cycling team on its next leisurely adventure by bike.
The aim of the rides which take place on the first Sunday of each month until September, are to encourage women who might not have the confidence they need to cycle on their own, to get out and about with other like minded ladies.
Following routes included in the Cycling for All Guide, these interesting and relaxing rides are free of charge and suitable for all levels of ability.
This Sunday's event will take riders on a tidal trail to the atmospheric shores of Sunderland Point.
Riders should meet at 11am at the south end of Lancaster's Millennium Bridge.
Don't forget to bring a picnic to eat at Sunderland Point.
Details of all rides and events are included in Lancaster City Council's free Rides and Events Programme for 2008 . To get a copy of this or the free Cycling for All Guide, visit
