Splinters Theatre Group will present John Godber's 'September in the Rain' at Lancaster's Williamson Park on Friday September 26 at 7.30pm.
The play charts the frustrations and joys of an ordinary marriage, its triumphs, regrets and unsung love set against the backdrop of Blackpool in its hey day.
Jack and Liz have spent a lifetime of hard earned holidays in Blackpool boarding houses wiling away the hours on the front eating chips and paddling in the sea.
It covers Blackpool Tower, the Big Dipper, the donkeys on the beach, ice-cream, The Student Prince, The Waxworks and of course the rain.
