Lancaster City Council invites you to become The King for a day

Lancaster City Council is offering fans of the King of Rock 'n' Roll the chance to don their Blue Suede Shoes and learn how to move, sound and perform like Elvis.

Lancaster City Council is offering fans of the King of Rock 'n' Roll the chance to don their Blue Suede Shoes and learn how to move, sound and perform like Elvis.

On October 3 the city council's Dome venue in Morecambe will be hosting a concert by the UK's premier Elvis tribute act,  Stars in Their Eyes winner Gordon Hendricks.

Prior to the show, on September 24 at 6.30pm, Gordon will be hosting a master class event on how to swing like the king.

And the person with the most Las Vegas sparkle will win a VIP night out to see Gordon in concert.

So if you'd like to learn how to be Elvis from one of the best in the business, get in touch.

Simply email sward@lancaster.gov.uk to book your place. But be quick as there are limited places available.

Gordon said: "Although we are calling it a master class, I am going to make it as much fun for fans of Elvis and his music as I can, so get ready to be All Shook Up!”

If you can't make it to the master class don't worry, tickets are still available to see Gordon in concert.

They are priced at £13.50 and are available from the Dome's box office on 01524 582803 and 406108, as well as at both Lancaster and Morecambe TICs. Doors open at 7.30pm.
