Lancaster City Council has launched its Rides and Events Guide for 2009 to tempt residents and visitors into making the most of our district by bike.
With the district's ability to boast the largest cycling network in Lancashire, the brochure is packed with a whole host of events to keep people happy and healthy over the next seven months.
Popular events and rides featured in the guide include:
Birding by Bike - Sunday April 26
Party on the Prom - Sunday May 10
Bike Week - 13 to 21 June
Bike It Picnic in Happy Mount Park - Sunday July 5
This year's guide also includes a variety of discounts on treats the family can enjoy whilst out and about on their bikes ranging from refreshments, gifts and entertainment to clothing, bike hire, cycling equipment and maintenance.
Come along to events featured in the guide and you could be in with a chance of winning a free bike. Pick up a brochure to find out how to enter.
Guides are available, free of charge, from Lancaster and Morecambe Visitor Information Centres, the council's customer service centres at Lancaster and Morecambe Town Halls and local libraries.
