The UK Beach Boys will be appearing at The Platform on Saturday May 2.
Unlike many tributes, the band’s performance will be totally live with no artificial backing or tracks of any kind. The concert will contain all the Beach Boys hits (plus some lesser known gems) that are guaranteed to evoke memories of long hot summers of yesteryear.
The UK beach Boys were formed in 2001 by four talented musicians who all have a passion for the music of the Beach Boys. In their pursuit of becoming the ultimate tribute, the group recruited Adrian Baker, a touring and recording member of the Beach Boys, to advise and guide on the finer aspects of the Beach Boys sound. The result is a truly authentic Beach Boys experience!
The band’s repertoire includes ‘California Girls’, ‘Wouldn’t it be Nice’, ‘God Only Knows’, ‘Sloop John B’, ‘Barbara Ann’, ‘Good Vibrations’, ‘Surfin’ Safari’ and many more. The UK Beach Boys are keeping the summer alive!
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £13 adults, £12 concessions, from the box office on 01524 582803.
