The Little Book of Sustainable Living, developed by the Recycling Forum of Lancaster District, is jam-packed full of positive and easy ways to live more sustainably and help reduce the human impact on our planet.
The launch of this brand new, free publication will take place on Saturday August 22 from 9.30am at RSPB Leighton Moss, near Carnforth. With activities for all the family and free showings of the film Hawai’i: Message in the Waves this promises to be a great all day event.
The Little Book of Sustainable Living really is a one-stop publication to easy eco-friendly living, including a Reuse and Recycling A-Z for the local area, tips for environmentally friendly shopping, home efficiency hints and sustainable travel advice.
Come along and you can also explore the RSPB Leighton Moss nature reserve and enjoy lunch in their award winning cafe. Please check out the RSPB website at www.rspb.org.uk for entrance charges and directions to the reserves.
