LANCASTER City Council is suspending collections of green garden waste for the week of December 21 to 26 and will be collecting non-recyclable waste instead.

Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions, residents whose refuse and recycling was due for collection on Tuesday December 22 did not have a collection. Since Wednesday December 23 a refuse and recycling service has been provided. However, due to icy conditions on some roads we have not been able to safely reach every property. Anyone affected by this should leave their waste to await collection on the next collection. date as per your collection calendar.
