Love is Like a Red, Red Rose, a St Valentine Day concert by the Kenmore Trio, will take place at The Platform in Morecambe on Sunday February 15 at 3pm.
Love is Like a Red, Red Rose, a St Valentine Day concert by the Kenmore Trio, will take place at The Platform in Morecambe on Sunday February 15 at 3pm.
The Kenmore Trio comprises Wendy Sharrock (mezzo soprano), Brian Lancaster (baritone) and Charles Edmondson (piano).
Wendy and Brian are both local musicians who have become well known through their huge number of concert engagements in the region. They appear as soloists with many of the local choral societies. They have a very wide and varied repertoire and both are equally at home with music from oratorio and songs from the shows.
For this concert, they join forces to present a programme of music in which they will sing popular solos and duets which will explore the theme of love and flowers.
They will be accompanied on piano by Charles Edmondson from Kendal who has established himself as a much sought after accompanist.
