To celebrate summer in their new location at The Storey on Meeting House Lane, staff at Lancaster Visitor Information Centre will be giving all customers who spend £3 or more during the month of July a free copy of ‘The City of Lancaster’ guide book.
Normally retailing at £4.95, the guidebook gives a insight to the history of Lancaster, with features on Lancaster’s buildings, famous Lancastrians, Lancaster’s ‘roots’ and transport.
The book provides information on the famous landmarks of Lancaster Castle, The Priory Church, Lancaster Castle, Williamson Park and the Ashton Memorial and the Lancaster Canal.
As well as taking advantage of this special offer, staff at Lancaster Visitor Information can help provide information on what’s on and where to go over the busy summer months.
The centre stocks a wide range of gifts and souvenirs to suit everyone’s with a special range of ‘Taste Lancashire’ products including the popular Lancashire sauce which is based on a family recipe over 100 years old.
Whilst in the centre, pick a ticket up for The Merchant of Venice at Leighton Hall or treat yourselves to a day out at Southport Flower Show – just a couple of the events that tickets are available for.
