Mama mia! Tastebuds to be tantalised at the Festival Market
Italian market comes to Morecambe in May
Get ready to give your tastebuds a treat over the bank holiday weekend from May 23 to 25 as Morecambe's Festival Market plays host to its first ever visiting Italian market.
On offer from the additional 60 metres of stalls will be “bellissimo” Italian delicacies including olives, breads and pastries, ice cream, biscuits, cheeses, olive oil, cured meats, dried fruits and nuts, fudges, pasta as well as Murano glass.
So come along, tuck into some fine Italian produce and also enjoy 'bargains by the sea' as this little piece of Morecambe promises to be more like a continental town for three days.
The Festival Market, which is operated by Lancaster City Council, is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and all Summer Bank Holidays 9am to 5pm (4.30pm during the winter). Contact Tracey Bruce on 01524 414251 or email tbruce@lancaster.gov.uk for further details.
