Enjoy Music for a Medieval Christmas at The Platform in Morecambe

A CONCERT of Music for a Medieval Christmas will take place at The Platform on Sunday December 13, performed by early music specialists, Tapestry of Music.

Glynis and Brian Radford founded Tapestry of Music in 1978, presenting a wide range of early music from the medieval, Tudor and Baroque periods, with frequent excursions into folk repertoire.

Using their collection of fascinating early and ethnic instruments including harps, lutes, saz, oud, hurdy-gurdy, shawms, bagpipes, nykelharpa, crumhorns among others, they will perform a programme of Medieval Christmas music. The concert will be enhanced by fine costumes.

Come along and enjoy this celebration of Christmas in past times, mulled wine and mince pies will be served at the interval.

The concert will tart at 3pm and tickets cost £7.50 adults, £4 children. The price includes interval refreshments.
