Gordon Hendricks tribute to Elvis returns to the Morecambe Dome
GORDON Hendricks will make a welcome return to the Morecambe Dome on Saturday December 12 with his tribute to Elvis Presley.
Gordon's is the undisputed No 1 Elvis tribute. His talent first came to national attention in 2005 when he amazed millions of television viewers with his vocal virtuosity and good looks as he took the title in the grand finale of Granada TV’s ‘Stars in their Eyes’.
Since winning that title, Gordon has played at Las Vegas, stayed at the Graceland home of a woman who used to bake Elvis’ pies, hobnobbed with Graham Norton, Anne Robinson and Denise Van Outen and been asked for his autograph in Tesco.
Last year he played to 5,000 fans at Bolton Arena with Elvis’ original drummer, DJ Fontana, and his 1970s backing singers, The Sweet Inspirations.
BBC broadcaster Mike Adams said of Gordon in 2005, ‘Gordon Hendricks is not the King in new clothes, he offers a 21st century rendition of the phenomenon that was Elvis Presley’. Come and see for yourself!
The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £14 adults, £13 concessions from the box office on 01524 582803
