Roll up for the mystery tour by bike
Our programme of 'Women on Wheels' guided cycle rides continues soon (Sunday 4 October) with a lucky dip outing for cyclists who enjoy a bit of mystery.
Rides have taken place on the first Sunday of every month since March this year to encourage women who might not have the confidence to cycle on their own to take to the highways and byways with other like-minded ladies.
Instead of planning a set route or destination for October's ride, the council's cycling team will be leaving it up to the wind as to where it takes them on the day.
The ride takes place on Sunday, 4 October and promises to be a fairly leisurely journey covering a distance of 10 to 15 miles.
If you've never been on one before, it's never too late to join in the fun as there's loads more rides on the cards to get you out and about during the winter months.
There’s no need to book, just turn up at the Millennium Bridge at 11am, with a road worthy bike and a snack.
