An afternoon of wartime nostalgia at The Platform with 'We'll Meet Again'

The cast of We'll Meet Again
WE'LL Meet Again, the record breaking touring show presented by Duggie Chapman will be coming to the Platform on Friday May 7 on its annual nationwide tour.
This wartime cavalcade celebration show has a new programme and is a show for everyone who wants to be cheered up in these sombre days - and that means most of us!
The regular show team return with comedy star Steve Barclay recalling the wonderful radio stars Tessie O'Shea and the King of Comedy, Max Miller.
New to the company for this tour is lovely new star Lucia Mattese, who will be singing 40s favourites including a selection of Vera Lynn songs. Debonair Tony Leyton presents the unforgettable songs of Bing Crosby and Donald Peers.
Ace musical entertainer Andy Eastwood, Britain's best ukulele virtuoso, features the songs of George Formby and also some supreme violin swing in a tribute to Stephane Grappelli. Andy has just completed another tour as guest star with the Ken Dodd show to standing ovations.
Mervyn Francis hosts the show and will be singing Al Jolson hits.
With the fabulous music of The Martyn St James Sound, here is an afternoon show with a recollection of the days when the spirit of Britain was at its highest, and an era to be proud of.
