Listen and learn at Lancaster and Morecambe Visitor Information Centres
A new audio guide has been launched to introduce visitors to the delights of the Lancaster district's places and attractions.
Produced by Lancaster City Council, the guide takes listeners through the Lancaster district’s mix of city, coast and countryside and can be downloaded at www.lancaster.gov.uk/audioguide
Alternatively a free CD of the guide is available from the Visitor Information Centres in Lancaster and Morecambe.
As well as featuring Lancaster, Morecambe and the rural areas, the guide features an introduction to the new Morecambe Football Club stadium and the delights of Morecambe Bay shrimps!
Coun June Ashworth, Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism, said: “This new guide will be an extremely useful resource, particularly for blind and partially sighted visitors.
"We are committed to attracting visitors to the Lancaster district, and this guide will help showcase the district’s best features to more people than ever before.”
