Still time to be in with a chance of winning £200
THERE’S still time to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize – just for registering to vote.
Annual electoral registration forms have been sent out to all households in the district.
Anyone who responds either by Freephone, internet or post by September 3 will be entered into a free prize draw to win £200.
To confirm your details either return the form which was delivered to your home or use the 24 hour Freephone telephone service (0808 161 7649) or the internet registration service (www.register-online.co.uk).
Both the telephone and internet systems also accommodate the ‘opt-out’ rules allowing users to add or remove their names from the edited version of the register used by mailing companies, and to request postal vote applications.
The register will be based on where people will be living on October 15 and it will be published on December 1 2010.
If you think your circumstances may change before October 15 you can still register now and be in with a chance of winning the cash prize, and then amend your details later.
If a form has not been delivered to your property, or you have any other questions, help is available from the council – telephone the helpline - 01524 582905.
