An evening of Lancashire songs and humour at the Platform with Bernard Wrigley and the Oldham Tinkers

Bernard Wrigley and the Oldham Tinkers
LANCASHIRE'S favourite ambassadors, Bernard Wrigley and the Oldham Tinkers, make a welcome return to the Platform on Saturday 13 March.
Bernard is known for his presenting work on BBC Radio Lancashire as well as his acting and singing. You can see him complaining on `Dinner Ladies`, selling an inflatable phallic castle on `Phoenix Nights` or as the Rocket Man in `Emmerdale`. As a singer, he`ll be performing his unique blend of songs and monologues at the Platform.
The Oldham Tinkers have been cultural ambassadors for Lancashire since the mid 1960s – their patter and comic songs blending effortlessly with songs and poems of ethos. Oft copied but never bettered! For the final spot of the evening, Bernard and the lads love to join together for four or five songs.
Bernard and the Tinkers are pleased to be returning to the Platform. They have greatly enjoyed their last three concerts and are always very well received. The show will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 from the Box Office on 01524 582803.
