Fun and frolics at the Festival Market's Easter eggstravaganza
THE Festival Market in Morecambe is planning an egg-citing and egg-stra special treat for young and old alike this Easter with no less than four free competitions.
Pop into the Festival Market any Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday during March and you can collect your free competition entry forms.
There’s a colouring competition for children from age 4 to 11, a “design a pom-pom chick” competition, a ‘find the eggs” competition (treasure hunt throughout the stalls) and a “guess the mini-eggs in the jar” competition.
Traders will be joining in too with their Easter Bonnet competition (if they are too shy to wear them, look out for them on the stalls!).
As well as chocolate eggs, there are vouchers and cuddly toy prizes for the winners and don’t forget – it’s free to enter.
So if you want to keep your little ones busy this Easter – or your own hands busy and off the chocolate eggs - then call into the Festival Market.
You may even see Rodney the Festival Market Rabbit in his hutch!
The closing date for the colouring and pom-pom chick competitions is March 31, after which all entries will be on display in the market. “Guess the eggs” and “find the eggs” competitions will be running from March 27 to April 11.
