Are your antiques the Real Deal?
SATURDAY January 30 is set to be a real bobby dazzler as David Dickinson and his TV show descend on the Lancaster district.
Dickinson’s Real Deal, the popular ITV show, is scheduled to film an episode from Salt Ayre Sports Centre.
Between 9am and 5pm members of the public will be able to take along their antiques and choose between money from an antiques dealer or going to auction.
David will be keeping a close eye on the deals and will be on hand to offer advice to the public.
Centre manager, Susan Williams, said: “It’s quite a coup to get the show to our district and in doing so we beat off competition from other leisure centres in the north west.
“The fantastic facilities here at Salt Ayre are what clinched it for us and we are looking forward to working with David and the Real Deal crew.
"Don’t forget to check out the great food in our café - 'Cheap as chips'!”
