Chantel McGregor Band to perform in the Morecambe Dome's Waterfront Bar

THE Chantel McGregor Band will play a Waterfront Bar Blues Special at Morecambe Dome on Friday February 5.
Chantel McGregor is one of the rising stars on the British Blues/Rock scene. She started playing guitar at the age of 7 and began playing with local bands at the age of 12. Qualified at Grade 8 and the holder of Leeds College of Music's prestigious 'Outstanding Musicianship' award for 2006/7, Chantel completed her music degree in 2009 with first class honours.
The band takes the technicalities of Vai and Satriani and blends this with the excitement of Hendrix to create high energy blues rock in the vein of Joe Bonamassa and Aynsley Lister's Blues Matters.
The other members of the band are Martin Rushworth on drums and Alex Jeffrey on bass. They have been playing together for some years, Alex and Chantel being on the same course at Leeds University.
The doors will be open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £8 advance, £10 on the door.
