Family Cycling
GOING out on a family bike ride is fast becoming one of the nation's favourite past times.
Lancaster City Council has produced a leaflet to show families how a bike ride together can be fun, rewarding, interesting and best of all; it's free.
'Family Cycling in the Lancaster District' is full of top tips and information to get your family on the move. There is advice on what equipment you will need, routes to try and where you can receive training to improve your skills, fix your bike and build your confidence on the roads.
If that isn't enough to inspire you to get on the cycle track, there is encouragement from others who have been there and done it.
Leaflets are available at council buildings including the town halls, the visitor information centres and Salt Ayre.
If you need more information on cycling whether it be advice on equipment or routes please contact the Celebrating Cycling Team based at Morecambe Town Hall; Tel: 01524 582392 or by email to celebratingcycling@lancaster.gov.uk.
