Be your own boss at Morecambe's Festival Market

TIRED of high overheads? Can't afford to advertise? Feeling alone in business? Or perhaps you just want to be your own boss and fancy a change of direction.
Well why not join us at the Festival Market – the traditional open market with a hustle and bustle atmosphere that customers just can’t resist.
The Festival Market continues to thrive in a difficult financial climate – aided by its reasonable rents (from just £10 per day for 100 square feet of stall).
It currently offers a wide range of commodities and services – everything from key cutting to home grown cauliflowers, vaccuum repairs to carpets with fitting, good quality meat, sweets and chocolates. The commodities are too vast to list – but suffice to say that the market’s customers benefit from traders who know about the commodity they sell and care about the customers they sell to.
Add to that the large adjoining car park, events during the year such as visiting markets and family fun days and you have the ideal venue to bring your business.
Alan Greenhalgh has been a trader on the market since it opened in 1996. Since that time he has seen it grow from small beginnings into the popular and successful market it is today.
'My line is vacuum and appliance spares and we also supply new and reconditioned machines to customers who come to us from over a large area,' he explained.
'That’s the benefit of the market, some people come to shop, others just for a day out - but are impressed enough to come back and tell their friends.
'If you join the traders in the market you won’t make a million overnight, it takes time and commitment to get your rewards but I, like many others, have never regretted being here.'
