David Morris (Conservative Party) was elected as the MP for the Morecambe and Lunesdale constituency in the General Election.

The full results were as follows:

Leslie Jones (Liberal Democrats)  5791

Mark Andrew Knight (UK Independence Party)  1843

David Morris (Conservative Party)  18035

Geraldine Smith (Labour Party)  17169

David Morris was therefore elected to be the Member of Parliament for the Morecambe and Lunesdale constituency.

Turn out was 62.53%
