The Hamsters: Jimi Hendrix 40th Anniversary Commemorative Tour comes to the Platform

The Hamsters
Guitar, bass and drums trio, The Hamsters, will be performing a concert of Jimi Hendrix at the Platform in Morecambe on Saturday, October 9.
The Hamsters have long been established as a premier live attraction. Although a band in their own right – playing rock, blues and Americana, they have also been widely regarded as the UK’s leading interpreters of Jimi Hendrix’s music.
For this concert, they will be playing Jimi’s songs to commemorate his passing 40 years ago in September, 1970.
The band will ‘support’ themselves by first playing a short set of their own brand of music, then return for a Jimi Hendrix show.
The show will start at 8pm. Tickets cost £13 adults, £12 concessions from the Box Office on 01524 582803 or in person from Morecambe or Lancaster Visitor Information Centres.
Please note that this is a standing concert and for over 14s only.
