October half term fun

Holiday Activity Programme
Lancaster City Council is offering a wide variety of sports, arts and spooky activities during the October half term holiday (October 29 - November 2) for youngsters between 4 and 16 years old.
Exciting workshops and activities on offer include survival adventure day, indoor Olympics and crazy inflatable fun at Salt Ayre swimming pool. Old favourites such as cycling and tennis plus extreme sports such as snowboarding and skiing are also on offer.
New for this half term are a whole range of activities that anyone can enjoy such as rush hockey, girls football coaching and a scavenger hunt plus a huge range of spooky activities taking place in Lancaster museums as well as tours of Lancaster Castle.
The more adventurous might like to test their nerves with a day packed full of excitement at with indoor skydiving, skiing, sledging and climbing at Airkix and Chill Factore in Manchester.
For a fantastic introduction to the fun and challenging sport of water polo, there’s a week long course of water polo to dive in to at Salt Ayre Sports Centre taken by a long-standing member of the Great Britain water polo team.

Places can be booked and paid for now at Salt Ayre Sports Centre, Monday to Friday from 8am to 9pm (from 8am to 6pm on Sunday).
