The City Council has a duty to review and assess local air quality, and to implement actions for improving local air quality.

Technical reports of air quality reviews and assessments

All our reports can be downloaded using the links below. Some of these are large documents with numerous charts and graphics so they can take some time to download. For this reason we have provided a summary of each report containing the title page, contents list, executive summary, introduction and conclusions.

Printed copies of all recent reports have been placed in the reference sections of local libraries around the Lancaster district and in some nearby towns and villages. It is advisable to contact your preferred local library in Lancashire  or Cumbria to confirm where the nearest copy may be viewed.
