Planning Application Forms (1APP)

Lancaster City Council has now adopted the standard national planning application forms under the 1App scheme.  Applicants and agents are requested to start using the new forms at the earliest opportunity.    

It is a statutory requirement for all planning authorities to only accept 1App standard forms from 6th April 2008.  Applications received on old application forms will be deemed invalid if received after that date.

These forms are for download and completion in hard copy only.  Electronic forms will be available on the Planning Portal shortly.

Renewal of Planning Permission Forms

New legislation has come in to force allowing the renewal of planning permissions, and any associated listed building consents and conservation area consents from 1st October 2009. 

There are new fees proposed for these applications - £500 for a major application, £170 for normal applications and £50 for householder applications.  However, these are not yet in force and the fee payable is the full fee that would apply for a new application.  Changes to fees require amended legislation to go through Parliament and this is a slow process.
