The Development Control section deals with planning and other applications for development, change of use, advertisements, alterations to listed buildings, conservation area consent, handles enforcement of the planning laws and deals with tree preservation orders.

The Planning Advice Team are on hand to provide advice and assistance to customers for all aspects of development control. If you cannot find the information on our web site, or are unsure of anything you should contact them in the first instance. If they cannot answer your query they will put you in touch with the right member of staff to deal with your query. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
